Patricia Elliott writes for older children and Young Adults and all her novels are published by Hodder Children's Books. They are also available as e-books.
Patricia's The Ice Boy won the Fidler Award for a first novel and was short-listed for the Branford Boase Award. Her Gothic fantasy, Murkmere, was long-listed for the Guardian Award and followed by a companion novel, Ambergate, and a psychological fantasy, The Night Walker. The Traitor's Smile, her latest novel, is a gripping romantic thriller set in the French Revolution, a sequel to The Pale Assassin.
Patricia's new novel, The Devil in the Corner, a Victorian murder mystery about love, jealousy and arsenic poisoning, will be published in March '14.
Patricia has an MA in creative writing, has taught courses on writing for children at adult education colleges and led workshops for both adults and children. She is married, with two sons.
